Baby Growth: The last two prenatal visits, Baby Girl was playing games with the midwife by favoring the transverse position; but her Daddy thinks that she’s usually head-down based on how she feels and where she kicks. She is now the size of a coconut and approximately 16 inches long.

Mommy Vibes: So far I have been feeling just great. But last week I sprained my ankle while playing in the river with the dogs, and the process to heal has taken a little longer due to my body growing a baby at the same time. Other than that, I keep busy with projects around the house and gatherings with friends and playing with the dogs.

Baby Love: She beep-bops around quite a bit in the mornings and evenings while I’m resting. Every now and then Ian or I will notice a limb pop the side of my belly. For the most part she does seem rather quiet, except for some moments when Ian is talking or when she’s being poked around or when I eat chocolate.

Mommy Favorites: I am still enjoying my clothes, even my maternity clothes (although I’m not wearing anything maternity in these pictures), and I feel much better having had my hair trimmed and spruced up the other day. My skin has been very clear lately, which is ironic, since I am going to see a dermatologist about my cystic acne (it’s flared up badly periodically throughout the pregnancy). I can’t really say that it’s my favorite thing to be pregnant, and I am still adjusting to the reality of a person living inside of me, but I am grateful that at this stage I am glowing and looking forward to Baby Girl’s arrival.
